Extended cooperative banking facilities will be made available in Bastar and Surguja divisions

Raipur: Chhattisgarh chief secretary Amitabh Jain on Monday chaired a detailed review meeting regarding the implementation of the action plan made by the Cooperative Department for the purpose of expanding cooperative banking facilities  at various places of Bastar and Surguja divisions. 

This meeting was held in Mantralaya,Mahanadi Bhawan.  According to the announcement made by chief minister Bhupesh Baghel during the Bhent Mulaqat programme, banking facilities are being expanded at 16 places in Bastar division and at eight places in Surguja division.

It was informed in the meeting that action is being taken for the expansion of cooperative banking facilities in Nangur, Badekilepal, Bakwand, Nadisagar of Bastar district under Bastar division. Similarly, cooperative banking facilities are being extended to Kutru and Madhed in Bijapur district, Benur and Mardapal in Narayanpur district, Dahikonga in Kondagaon district, Amravati (Bijapur/Anantapur), Bade Dongar, Dhanora and Baderajpur. Similarly, cooperative banking facilities are also being provided at Koyelibeda and Jepra/Halba and Amora in Kanker.

Action is being taken to provide banking facilities in Rajpur and Lundra in Surguja district, Govindpur and Devnagar in Surajpur district under Surguja division.
