Raipur: The 44th Chess Olympiad is going to be held in Chennai starting from tomorrow. Chhattisgarh Olympic Association President Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Hora have been invited for this world-class event. Besides, Hora has also been appointed as the official for the chess tourney.
Hora said that this competition is being organized since 1927. This is the first time when India is hosting this event. The event will witness participation from 188 countries this year, which is the highest so far. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate this world class event.
