CM Vishnu Deo Sai Condemns Killing of Hindus in Bengal, Says “History Will Never Forgive You, Mamata Ji”

Raipur

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has strongly condemned the targeting of Hindus during the violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal, which erupted in protest against the Waqf Amendment Bill. Launching a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he said, “Mamata Ji, history will never forgive you for such brutality.”

In a post on social media platform X, CM Sai stated that the killings, lootings, and destruction of temples carried out under the guise of Waqf law by violent mobs in West Bengal are deeply condemnable. He alleged that the West Bengal government is appeasing rioters in pursuit of the Muslim vote bank, calling it a tragic development.

“Mamata Ji, history will never forgive you for such cruelty. You have failed to protect the tribals, backward classes, and Dalits of Bengal. In every incident—including Sandeshkhali—you have consistently, whether intentionally or not, given the impression that your government is encouraging such riots,” Sai wrote.

He urged the West Bengal Chief Minister to reflect on her constitutional oath, reminding her that she is not the leader of a single community but of the entire state. “The safety of all residents of West Bengal is your primary responsibility. Stop viewing such matters through the lens of political gain or loss. Please protect the people,” he added.
