Raipur
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai left for Delhi on Friday, where he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This marks his second meeting with the Prime Minister in the last 12 days.
Speaking to the media in Raipur before his departure, the Chief Minister said,
“I am going to Delhi for a two-day visit. I will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discuss the development of Chhattisgarh. I will also brief him on the ongoing anti-Naxal operations in the state.”
It is expected that the meeting will also include a review of various central schemes being implemented in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister may seek additional funds from the Centre to support developmental projects in the state.
Earlier, CM Sai had met PM Modi in Delhi during the Governing Council meeting on May 24. The meeting focused on the theme “Developed India @2047” and deliberated on the role of states in achieving the national goal of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
During the session, CM Sai proposed a ₹75 lakh crore economic target for Chhattisgarh under this vision, presented at the NITI Aayog platform.
Chhattisgarh has adopted the “3T” model—Technology, Transparency, and Transformation. This approach aims to ensure cleaner, faster governance through measures such as online applications, timely services, and simplified processes to boost public trust.
