CM Bhupesh Baghel slams BJP for ‘spoiling’ state’s atmosphere questioning credibility of CGPSC results

Raipur
Slamming the opposition BJP for ‘spoiling’ the atmosphere of the state by politicizing the issue of Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission (CGPSC) results, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that being the son/daughter of bureaucrats or politicians is not a crime.
Talking to media persons, the Chief Minister said that the BJP is questioning the transparency in the selection in the PSC 2021 exam and demanding the cancellation of the result which is baseless.
The Chief Minister said that there is nothing wrong if the children of bureaucrats and politicians get selected in the examination through their hard work and dedication. They cannot be failed just because they belong to the families of bureaucrats and politicians, said the Chief Minister, adding earlier in the BJP tenure also the children of bureaucrats and politicians have been selected and he has the names of those selected earlier as well, but if he reveals it then those children will feel bad.
The Chief Minister said that the things being circulated on in the social media are unfortunate. “If BJP has facts, it should bring them to the fore, if there is any mistake in the selection, then give it, we will get it investigated. But the BJP is spoiling the atmosphere of the state through baseless allegations,” said the Chief Minister.
“Just making allegations will not increase your stature. If the children of BJP leaders are given tickets in the Vidhansabha or Lok Sabha, then it is their merit, but when the children of officers and leaders are being selected in the PSC exam, then questions are being raised. This is the double standard of the BJP,” said the Chief Minister.
\Supreme Court has rebuked ED
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said the way the traffic police do their duty with honesty at traffic points to take action against offenders and make challan against them, the ED officials in Chhattisgarh is carrying slips in their pockets. The ED is adopting third degree torture, which is wrong. Here the government is doing good work, every section is happy with the government, so BJP is not allowing the government to work under an agenda.
The Chief Minister said that the ED has become autocratic and Supreme Court is watching. Senior lawyer Kapil Sibal said a good thing that elections are coming. That’s why they are doing all these.
