CM Bhupesh Baghel relishes the taste of Chhattisgarhiya food at the house of a farmer

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday had lunch at the house of a farmer Shri Ved Ram Sahu in village Chhapora as a part of his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. 

Expressing his happiness, the farmer said ” I am very happy that the Chief Minister came to my house to have food. I never thought that this would even happen. The farmer’s friendly policies and schemes of the state government have brought prosperity in the lives of farmers across the state.” 

Revenue Minister Jai Singh Agarwal and MLA Ramkumar Yadav also accompanied the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister was served food in a dish made of ‘fulkans’ as per the rich tradition of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister relished the taste of Chhattisgarhiya dishes  including Jimmikanda, Lal Bhaji, Gumi Bhaji, Cheela, and Bijori Idhar ki Sabzi. Apart from this, the Futu (mushroom) sabzi and a dish made using cottage cheese produced in the village itself were also served.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also interacted with the family members and asked about their well-being.
