CM Bhupesh Baghel expresses displeasure over delay in disposal of revenue cases, pushes to clear pending revenue cases expeditiously

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed deep displeasure over unnecessary delay in disposal of revenue cases. He has given strict instructions to all the district collectors to clear all pending revenue cases expeditiously. He has said that disciplinary action will be taken considering the collectors directly responsible for delay in disposal of revenue matters.

Meanwhile, chief minister will chair a review meeting of district collectors in the last week of Februrary to discuss status of district-wise revenue cases including cases of name transfer, demarcation, diversion, land allotment, settlement and free-hold cases, as well as regularization of illegal constructions and land allotment to urban bodies at the rate of Rs 1 per square feet.

Quick disposal of revenue cases is among the top most priorities of the state government. Instructions were issued by the government from time to time in this regard. However, keeping in view the slow progress than expected, Chief Minister has taken the matter seriously and gave strict instructions to the officials concerned do the needful.

Besides, Baghel is taking direct feedback from the general public regarding the government schemes including revenue matters as a part of his state-wide ‘Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan’. During these programmes, he gave instructions to the officials concerned to clear revenue related cases fast.
