Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has compared ED to ‘Bhasmasur’, the mythological character. The chief minister said that the BJP and ED have hand in glove.
Former chief minister Dr Raman Singh releases the information before ED’s press release is issued. The chief minister alleged that ED conducts raids wherever BJP says and thus, no BJP leader has been raided so far. How did ED know who is from BJP and who is from Congress? Questioned Baghel.
Baghel said that there is an alliance between ED and BJP and ED is working as BJP’s agent. BJP has made the ED ‘Bhasmasur’.
No one can complain against BJP people as ED is there to protect them. The ED officials are doing whatever they want to. They are beating the people being arrested and keeping them awake all night, giving food but not giving water, said the chief minister.
The CM said that just as Lord Shiva had given a boon to Bhasmasur, the BJP has given it to the ED. There is a possibility that the ED may go after those who give boons. What is excessive has an end, said the chief minister.
Targeting the continuous action of ED in the state, Baghel said that ED and CBI are roaming in the streets of Chhattisgarh. He said that earlier when ED arrived, people used to think that the reputation has diminished, but now after the Karnataka elections, everyone will come to Raipur and the entire target will be Chhattisgarh.
On Naxalites issue, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that he will talk to the residents of Bastar, tribals, youth, farmers and journalists. As far as talking to the Naxalites is concerned, we have been saying from the beginning that they express faith in the Constitution of India, after that we are ready to talk in any forum.
The chief minister said that the BJP has accepted its defeat in Karnataka. If there is a result like Chhattisgarh, then where will Operation Kamal be able to take place? They are 14 and Congress is 71 in Chhattisgarh, then what operation will they do? The people of Karnataka have decided to give Congress over 150 seats, leaving no chance for Operation Kamal, said the chief minister.
