CM Bhupesh Baghel Announces Over Rs 117 Crore Worth of Development Works for Raipur City Residents During Meet-and-Greet Program

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel gifted development works worth more than Rs 117 crore 61 lakhs to the residents of Raipur city during the meet-and-greet programme in Raipur North assembly constituency today. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has flagged off 84 new cleaning vehicles to Municipal Corporation Raipur.
Bhupesh Baghel discussed this with the people in the meet-meet program. During this, Ishwari Das Sahu demanded an amount of Rs 1.40 lakh from the Chief Minister for the education of her daughter, accepting which the Chief Minister announced to give Rs 1.5 lakh to Jyoti Sahu for the fees of her B.Sc. nursing studies. Inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of many development works related to employment, road traffic, drinking water, city beautification, and better treatment facilities for the youth.
On the other hand, the beneficiary, Faguram Sonwani, told the Chief Minister that he was not getting the benefit of the housing scheme. Hearing this, the Chief Minister has assured us to provide houses within a week. Bhupesh Baghel laid the foundation stone for the beautification of five roads in Raipur city for Rs 50 crore and a 500-seater BPO centre on the fifth floor of multilevel parking at the Collectorate for Rs 10 crore.
To provide better treatment facilities to the residents, he inaugurated development works worth Rs. 5 crores and 63 lakhs. A two-knot lab built at Rs 35 lakh 62 thousand and a 20-bed isolation ward built for Rs 74 lakh 56 thousand were also inaugurated in the district hospital.
A 12-bed ICU and a 30-bed oxygenated ward in the district hospital, built for Rs 65 lakh, were also inaugurated. At the same time, a transit hostel was built for Rs 70 lakh in the Kalibari District Hospital and an additional 20-bed ward for Rs 32 lakh and 28 thousand in the Community Health Center of Kho-Kho Para. The CM inaugurated eight staff quarters built for Rs 2 crore 86 lakhs in the district hospital premises.
