Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel will hoist the national flag at the programme to be organized at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur on August 15, marking the occasion of Independence Day. Following the flag hoisting, he will take salute of the parade. As per the planned schedule, chief minister will hoist the Tricolour at 9 AM. From 9:02 AM to 9:25 AM, the he will inspect the parade, and post the march-past, he will address the citizens of the state at 9:25 AM.
During the event, Baghel will also take part in presenting medals and awards, commencing at 9:50 AM and concluding at 10:15 AM. His participation will continue as he engages with parade commanders from 10:15 AM to 10:25 AM and depart the parade. During the dignified Independence Day celebration, a presentation by the police women’s band is scheduled from 10:29 AM to 10:39 AM, followed by a PT display from 10:39 AM to 10:49 AM, and cultural programmes from 10:49 AM to 11:09 AM.
