CM Baghel seeks donations on Cherchera festival

Raipur: On the occasion of the Cherchera festival, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel was seen seeking donations from street to street with a bag in his hand on the streets of Mathpara in Raipur.
The Chief Minister walked through the streets for almost 30 minutes, collecting donations from everyone. Residents of Mathpara stepped out of their homes when they saw Chief Minister Baghel and dropped grains, vegetables, and other items in his bag as a donation. Donations were made with enthusiasm by ladies, older people, and young children. During this time, the Chief Minister also delivered the money as a donation to the children.
Meanwhile, on the Cherchera festival, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel visited Dudhadhari Math and prayed to God, wishing the people of the state prosperity and happiness. On this occasion, Baghel expressed his best wishes to everyone for Cherchera saying that the festival of Cherchera sends a strong message because donations are given and received on this day. Giving charity is a show of generosity, whereas accepting charity is a symbol of ego destruction. The money donated in Cherchera is used for public welfare.
