Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel paid tribute to the Chhattisgarh’s renowned journalist Madhukar Kher on his death anniversary. Remembering Madhukar, he said that he played an important role in raising awareness in society, highlighting public issues and bringing positive news to the people of the country and the world, through his writings. Chhattisgarh government has introduced the Madhukar Kher Memorial Journalism Award (Madhukar Kher Smriti Patrakarita Puraskar) in print and electronic media-English, in honor and memory of Madhukar Kher.
