CM Baghel pays tribute to dauntless freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his death anniversary

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday paid floral tributes to the portrait of dauntless freedom fighter, thinker, and social reformer Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his death anniversary. On the occasion Baghel said that Tilak was the creator of ‘Purna Swaraj” (self-rule) movement. He coined the famous slogan “Swaraj is my birthright and I shall have it” igniting flame of freedom among citizens of the country. He started the public celebration of Ganesh Utsav and Shivaji Utsav to unite the countrymen so that they stand up against injustice. His remarkable and incomparable contribution to the struggle for India’s independence will always be remembered.
