CM Baghel inaugurates telescope at Sarna Ethnic Resort to promote tourism in the district

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated a telescope at Sarna Ethnic Resort to promote tourism in the district. He said that the district has immense potential for tourism. Here, one can see the captivating beauty of nature all around. Efforts are being made on various levels to ensure the development of tourist places here. Tourism development will create employment opportunities for localites and boost their income.

Chief Minister donated the said telescope to Deshdekha Tourism Women’s Self-Help Group. The telescope will be operated in Deshdekha, one of the major tourist destinations of Jashpur. Moreover, 10 camping tents and equipment were also provided to Deshdekha Tourism Committee to arrange an overnight camping facility for tourists. Besides, an MoU of Rs 10 lakhs was also signed between Startup Jashpur Trippy Hills and Deshdekha Tourism Committee in presence of the Chief Minister. Jashpur tourism circuit has been started at the resort site, where people can get information about each of the tourist places in Jashpur.Meanwhile, a website named ‘Johar Jashpur’ was also launched at the hands of the chief minister. This website has been developed to provide information about tourist places in the district. Through the website, people can get the location, access route and all other necessary information of all the tourist places of Jashpur online.
