Chhattisgarh’s 78 meritorious students had ‘Joy Ride’; thank CM Bhupesh Baghel

The meritorious students of Class 10th and 12th enjoyed helicopter ride in Raipur on Saturday, in compliance of chief minister Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement.
The students who have made it to the merit list of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) Class X and XII Examinations 2023 got a chance to fly in a special helicopter.
As many as 78 students of class 10th and 12th got the opportunity of joy ride. The first ride was flagged off by State School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam.
Bhumi Vrite, who made it to the top 10 in 10th board with 97.67%, is a resident of Kawardha. After coming to Raipur for the first time, she saw a helicopter here and took a ride on it.
Similarly, Deepika Patel and Rani Mahana, who made it to the top 10 list of class 12th, said that for the first time in their family, someone boarded a helicopter. They were eagerly awaiting the moment and finally their dream has fulfilled.
Chitranshi Sahu of Gariaband district said that there was definitely fear and nervousness before the ride but felt good after sitting.
Devkumar Dewangan, a Class 12 student at Jashpur’s Atmanand English Medium School, said he did not sleep the entire night thinking about the helicopter ride. Chhattisgarh government has named this event as Joy Ride.
