Chhattisgarh set to accelerate development – Rajnath Singh

Raipur
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that the development of Chhattisgarh has surged back onto the agenda in Chhattisgarh within just 100 days. During the five-year tenure of the Congress government, corruption was rampant. Under the leadership of Vishnudeo Sai, Chhattisgarh is poised to advance rapidly. It’s an honor to engage with farmers in the land of martyrs and heroes, Rajnath said while addressing a farmers’ convention in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur on Saturday.

“I am intimately familiar with Chhattisgarh and its rich culture. This state stands as a fortress for farmers. To shape the destiny of the state, we must first shape the destiny of its farmers. We have unwavering faith in the capabilities of the people of Chhattisgarh. The Congress administration wreaked havoc on the state,” he said.
Rajnath Singh remarked, “I, too, am a villager. Only a farmer can extract gold from the land. Villages, the impoverished, and farmers… the dignity of mothers and sisters is our party’s commitment. They should thrive.”
The policies formulated by the Prime Minister have lifted 25 crore people out of poverty in the country. This time, under Modi ji’s leadership, not a single makeshift dwelling will be allowed to remain. Every individual will be provided with a permanent residence. Every household will have access to piped water.
The people of Chhattisgarh have demonstrated their awareness by ushering in a change of government. We will issue soil health cards to farmers in Chhattisgarh. Through the SOIL Health Card, farmers will ascertain which nutrients are deficient in their soil.
The cost of one bag of urea fertilizer here is 300 rupees. In the US, its price is 3000 rupees. Modi has assured that farmers’ woes will not escalate under any circumstances. Modi has dubbed the surplus produce in Chhattisgarh ‘Shri Anna.’
The agricultural budget was 25 thousand crore rupees before 2014. Now Modi has augmented the agricultural budget to 1 lakh 25 thousand crore rupees. The crop insurance scheme has been implemented. While Congress was offering a minimum support price of 1040 rupees for wheat, we will provide 2125 rupees per quintal.
The BJP government will purchase excess grains from Chhattisgarh and export them abroad. Farmers’ prosperity centers will provide information on how farmers can prosper.
Rajnath Singh stated that the BJP government is arranging for solar lights. Electricity will be generated from the sun. We will provide free electricity up to 300 units for farmers. Your electricity bill will be reduced to zero. Only the double-engine government can fulfill this promise.
Prime Minister Modi is concerned about the honor of the country’s mothers and sisters. Did anyone ever think of building toilets before? Did anyone think of sparing mothers and sisters the inconvenience of going outside? Only Prime Minister Modi possesses such sensitivity.
Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party is the farmers’ party. Congress never paid heed to the farmers. BJP has taken various measures to boost farmers’ income, including issuing Kisan Credit Cards and implementing crop insurance schemes.
“We stand firm on Prime Minister Modi’s guarantee. We are implementing numerous significant decisions within just two and a half months. The decision to construct 18 lakh houses was made in the first cabinet meeting. On December 13, the oath was taken, and on December 14, we made this decision,” he said.
“We have already disbursed more than 12 lakh farmers’ pending bonuses of over 2 years. On Atalji’s birthday on December 25, we transferred 3716 crore rupees. We have procured rice at a rate of 3100 rupees per quintal. The differential amount will also be provided in one go on March 12,” Sai stated.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma remarked that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is the farmers’ leader. No country dares to cast a glance towards us when he is the defense minister. He emphasized that the BJP government is the government of farmers and the poor.
Whenever the BJP government comes to power, it works diligently. Farmers used to be ensnared by usurers in the past. When Atal Ji became Prime Minister, he empowered farmers by issuing them Kisan Credit Cards. Crop insurance was nonexistent before; implementing it was also the BJP government’s initiative.
The state president of the BJP Kisan Morcha, Tokhan Sahu, revealed that speeches will be delivered by Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai, the national president of the Morcha, Rajkumar Chahar, and national officials at the Farmers’ Mahasammelan.
