Raipur: Dr. Vikram Singh Sisodia, Secretary General of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association (COA), met Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi to extend New Year greetings and congratulate him on the successful organization of the Sports Conclave at Veer Savarkar Stadium, Ahmedabad. Sisodia also expressed gratitude to the Centre for its support in hosting the Chhattisgarh Tribal Games in the state.
During the meeting, Sisodia briefed the minister on the vibrant sports activities in Chhattisgarh. He highlighted how Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai—also the President of the COA—has created a highly positive environment for sports and athletes through sustained efforts and support.
Sisodia urged the minister to consider awarding the 40th National Games to Chhattisgarh in February 2028, following the 39th National Games scheduled in Meghalaya.
“This would boost our state’s sports infrastructure and overall sports development,” he emphasized.
