Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced the implementation of the ‘Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana’ in view of the immense possibilities of promoting the commercial use of trees in the state.
The objective of this scheme is to promote wood-based industries by encouraging tree plantation on private land . It is noteworthy that the establishment of these wood based industries will lead to income generation and employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister has given instructions to prepare a proposal to implement the promotion of commercial tree plantation on private land under the Mukhyamantri Vriksha Sampada Yojana and present it in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Ministers.
