Raipur: In a pioneering initiative, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College (Pt. JNM), Raipur, is set to introduce live-streamed tele-lectures for medical students across Chhattisgarh. Leveraging advanced telecommunication technology, Pt. JNM will broadcast lectures to all government medical colleges in the state, ensuring wider access to high-quality medical education.
The inaugural lecture is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, at 12:00 PM and will be delivered by Dr. Arvind Neral, Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology. This session is specifically designed for second-year MBBS students and will be streamed live to all government medical colleges in Chhattisgarh.
The “Tele-Lecture Class” program will operate via online video conferencing, allowing students to join the lecture from their respective institutions. More than just a passive viewing experience, the initiative enables interactive participation, where students can engage with the speaker and get their doubts clarified through virtual Q&A sessions.
