Chhattisgarh govt approves six new physiotherapy colleges

The Chhattisgarh government has granted administrative approval for the construction of six new physiotherapy colleges in the state. Each college will cost around ₹14 crore and will be established in Manendragarh, Jashpur, Raigarh, Bilaspur, Durg, and Jagdalpur.
The Department of Medical Education, Nava Raipur has issued the order for the construction. A total of ₹83.62 crore has been sanctioned for the development of these six institutions.
Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal thanked Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for the decision, stating that it will create new opportunities for the youth in the field of health education and expand the scope of physiotherapy services in the state.
