Chhattisgarh Gets 3 New IAS Officers: UPSC CSE-2024 Cadre Allocation Complete, Officers to Join Soon

Chhattisgarh has received three new Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers who are expected to join the state cadre soon.

The Union Ministry of Personnel has allocated cadres to the selected candidates following the results of the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024. Chhattisgarh has been allotted three new IAS officers in this batch. They will serve in various departments during their training period.

The new officers joining the Chhattisgarh cadre are Gokul R K, Yashwanth Kumar, and Ishant Jaiswal. Reports indicate Gokul R K is from Tamil Nadu, Yashwanth Kumar is from Telangana, and Ishant Jaiswal is from Uttar Pradesh. These officers will join the state administration shortly.

The state administrative department considers the allocation of three officers in a single IAS batch a major achievement. The state government is preparing to welcome the new officers. Their appointment is expected to lead to a redistribution of administrative responsibilities across several departments.

For their training, the three officers will undergo programmes in various departments to gain experience in both urban and rural administration. Their contribution in administrative matters will be significant for the state government. The addition of three new IAS officers is expected to strengthen the state’s administrative structure and ensure better governance.
