Raipur. Chief Minister BhupeshBaghel has targeted the central government and the BJP leaders of Chhattisgarh, saying the central government wants to take credit for the state’s achievements.
Referring to an advertisement regarding the achievements of the Central Government, the chief minister said that the Prime Minister claimed that the Central Government had started Jagdalpur Airport but forgot to mention that it was later closed. Now the state government operates it, and the airport was renamed Maa Danteshwari Airport.
The chief minister stated that the first flight would be to Hyderabad and Raipur. After that, there was a demand for Vishakhapatnam. The centre also started Bilaspur airport, and now has discontinued the services to Indore and Bhopal.
He said that the second thing that has been said in the advertisement is about the Saubhagya Yojana 2017–18. Electricity has been provided to 1 lakh and 60 thousand homes. Whereas; the state government provided electricity to 5 lakhs, 4 thousand, and 808 houses as of 2018.

Concerning the state’s liquor ban, the chief minister stated that people should refrain from drinking excessively before the ban as he did not want to implement any plan that would endanger people’s lives.
On Friday, the Chief Minister of Durg stated that money is not more important than people’s lives.
