T.S. Singhdeo, Minister of Health, attended the health expo.

Health and Family Welfare Minister T.S. Singhdeo visited the Health Expo (Medex-2023) organised at a private hotel in Raipur. The Health Department, in association with the Chhattisgarh chapter of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Indian Dental Association (IDA), and the Association of Health Care Providers in India (AHPI), has organised the three-day expo.
Renowned companies from India and abroad that manufacture and supply medical equipment, lab equipment, medical furniture, medical clothing, and consumables are participating in this expo, which runs from June 14 to June 16. Human resources and other service provider companies have also set up their stalls here. Along with many big hospitals and private medical colleges in the state, the Chief Medical and Health Officer’s office in many districts has set up stalls here.
During the observation of the Health Expo, the Health Minister inquired about the use, price, and features of the medical and lab equipment displayed there. He also saw the demo of the machines. T.S. Singhdeo visited all the stalls and discussed with the representatives of manufacturers, suppliers, and service provider companies. He thanked the companies participating in the expo and further said that information about different medical equipment and machines is available under one roof.
The Health Minister told the companies participating in the expo that the government is working continuously to create a manufacturer- and supplier-friendly system for medical equipment, consumables, and medicines in the state. During the visit of T.S. Singhdeo to the Health Expo, the Commissioner of the Health Department, Dr C.R. Prasanna, and the President of the Indian Medical Association, Dr Rakesh Gupta, were also present.
