Swarna Prashana Administered to 1270 Children in the Government Ayurveda College
Raipur: Swarna Prashan was administered to 1270 children in the Government Ayurveda College Hospital on Saturday to boost immunity, protect against respiratory diseases, and improve memory. It will be administered to children below 16 years of age in the Kaumarbhritya (Paediatrics) Department of the hospital on every Pushya Nakshatra of the month. To make people aware of this, the distribution of free medicines was carried out along with the distribution of pamphlets, and IQ assessments and health tests of children were also conducted.
The Swarna Prashan was administered to the children in the presence and guidance of the Principal of Government Ayurveda College, Prof. Dr. G.R. Chaturvedi, Hospital Superintendent, Prof. Dr. Praveen Kumar Joshi, and Kaumarabhritya (Paediatrics) Department Head, Prof. Dr. Neeraj Agarwal. Swarna Prashana Coordinator Dr. Lavkesh Chandravanshi informed that the administration of Swarna Prashan is very beneficial for children below 16 years of age. Students pursuing graduation and post-graduation at Ayurveda College are also taking part in this campaign. On the previous Pushya Nakshatra, 831 children were administered Swarna Prashana on January 9, 1124 on February 4, 1137 on March 3, 1290 on March 29, 860 on April 27, 835 on May 24, 1012 on June 20, 1145 on July 18, 1188 on August 14 and 1140 on September 10 in the Government Ayurveda College Hospital.
