RPF Jawan Commits Suicide in Bastar

A CRPF jawan reportedly committed suicide in Sukma district of LWE hit Bastar. He shot himself in the camp bathroom, ending his life, sources said. The deceased, identified as Vipul Bhuyan, was a soldier of the 226th Battalion of the CRPF and was posted at Gadiras Police Station.

According to reports, the jawan was originally from Assam and had returned just two days ago from leave. Upon hearing the gunshot, fellow jawans rushed to the scene and immediately took him to the hospital. However, he had already passed away before reaching the hospital.

Reasons for the jawan’s suicide has not been revealed so far. The police have started an investigation, and his family has been informed about the incident.
