Raipur Breaking : MHA Announces Union Home Minister’s Medal, Chhattisgarh Police Officers and Personnel Receive Highest Number of Awards

This time, the highest number of medals will go to police officers and personnel from Chhattisgarh, with 181 officers and personnel being honoured.

ADG Vivekananda Sinha, SP Vijay Pandey, SP I K Elesela, along with inspectors, sub-inspectors, ASIs, constables, and other personnel, will receive the Union Home Minister’s Medal.

Most of the awards will honour personnel involved in the Kanker anti-Naxal encounter case.

IG Amresh Mishra will be honoured with the Union Home Minister’s Medal for his outstanding investigative work during his tenure with the NIA.
Chhattisgarh Police Sub-Inspector Ajay Sinha will also receive the Union Home Minister’s Medal for excellence in investigation.
