Rahul Gandhi’s Raipur visit set for September 2, prospective release of initial list on Sept 6

The Congress headquarters was abuzz with activity as the political affairs committee convened for a crucial session. AICC general secretary K C Venugopal, the designated authority, presided over the gathering, engaging with prominent leaders.
Congress Chhattisgarh In-charge Kumari Seljaon the occasion said that Rahul Gandhi , the Member of Parliament, may visit to Raipur on September 2 after which a list of the Congress candidates will be released.
Post the deliberations, Minister Mohammad Akbar took the opportunity to shed light on the ticket allocation process. He indicated that subsequent to the compilation of inputs from Jan Ghoshna Patra Samiti by the August 31, a meeting of the Samiti will be arranged. The final verdict is likely to emerge from this subsequent assembly.
