Priyanka Gandhi Commends Chhattisgarh’s Efforts for Women’s Prosperity
Raipur: Chhattisgarh Government, led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, is dedicated to serving and improving its citizens’ present and future. The state government has initiated various schemes focusing on women’s empowerment. Chhattisgarh Mahtari symbolizes the blend of cultural heritage and technology and is revered in the state.
Priyanka Gandhi participated in the Mahila Samriddhi Sammelan at Bhilai’s Jayanti Stadium today. She praised the government’s efforts to address inflation by providing competitive paddy prices, benefiting farmers and curbing inflation’s impact. She also commended the establishment of Gauthans to handle stray animals, easing the burden on farming communities.
Gandhi admired the work of self-help groups in Chhattisgarh, highlighting their entrepreneurship and success, enabled by government support. She also recognized the state’s commitment to women’s welfare through various schemes, including healthcare services, free education, and financial assistance.
Chief minister Baghel emphasized the state’s gender equality and cooperation between men and women. The government has implemented plans to bolster farmers’ economic well-being, increase honorariums for workers, and promote economic growth.
The government has launched schemes to raise self-help group loans, establish BPOs, and preserve cultural traditions. Efforts are underway to enhance the state’s cultural heritage, including the development of tourism circuits and cultural celebrations.
During the event, Priyanka Gandhi and Chief Minister Baghel discussed her childhood memories and the importance of unity in Bhilai’s development.
Various ministers and public representatives also addressed the sammelan, highlighting the government’s commitment to Chhattisgarh’s progress.
