Police arrest a rapist, accused of assaulting a model in a hotel, from Hyderabad after five days.

A model got sexually assaulted in a hotel on Raipur’s VIP Road. The incident occurred on the evening of August 23. After five days, the police apprehended the accused in this high-profile rape case from a hotel in Hyderabad on Monday. The police will transport him to Raipur in the evening. Sahil Jain, a young man who runs an event management company, has been accused of raping the model.

Sahil Jain, originally a resident of Durg, also lives in Raipur due to his relationship with the businesspersons and influential leaders. He has a history of assault and rash driving. Previously, Sahil Jain was the social media in charge of Union Minister of State Renuka Singh. He got removed from the Union minister’s team due to a bad attitude and misuse of the minister’s name.

The girl has said in her complaint to the police – My friend Nitesh called me on August 23 at around 7:30 pm at Hotel Babylon International on VIP Road. As soon as I reached the hotel, I called my friend. He asked to meet Sahil Jain. He took me to room number 310. After some time, Nitesh also came. All three of us were in the room, talking.

Suddenly Nitesh left the hotel. Now Sahil and the girl were the only ones in the room. The girl alleges that after Nitesh left, Sahil closed the door from inside and started talking about having a physical relationship. Even after the girl’s refusal, Sahil did not stop and raped her. The girl said; she kept screaming, but no one came to help.

After some time, the doorbell rang, and the girl ran away and hid in the washroom and locked herself. When Sahil opened the door, Nitesh was standing outside. When he entered the room, the girl started screaming and telling him everything. The girl’s friend took her out of the washroom, gave her clothes and took him out of the hotel. Meanwhile, Sahil also ran away.

Following the incident, the girl called the Rajendra Nagar police station and reported it. The police station staff advised her to dial 112 and report the incident. The girl claims she dialled 112, but the call did not connect. She then informed his family members about the incident. An FIR was filed on August 25 at the Telibandha police station.

Last year, Sahil Jain ransacked the office of a used car dealer in Raipur’s Amanaka Chowk. A case was filed against Sahil and his accomplice Aman at Saraswati Nagar police station on the complaint of car dealer Nitin. Then Sahil kicked open the office door and broke the glass with a rod. The disagreement concerned the insurance policy.

Sahil Jain was caught speeding on MG Road on the second day of Diwali. People were eating street food at Chowpatty when he slammed into the crowd in his car. Some people were injured, and Sahil drove away, colliding with other vehicles parked on the banks. He was apprehended and beaten up by the mob when he returned before being handed over to the police.
