Health min TS Singh Deo humorously responds to question on becoming chief minister, says “Media has made me CM”

Raipur: Health minister TS Singh Deo, while responding to a question regarding the chief ministerial post said that he doesn’t know when he will become Chief Minister, but the media has already made him one.

Talking to media persons in Bilaspur, the health minister said that he does not know when he will become the Chief Minister, given the current situation adding that he never thought of entering politics but became a legislator, and opposition leader, and also got his name suggested for the post of Chief Minister. He jokingly remarked that the media has already made him the CM.

Deo stated that if he were to say he doesn’t want to become Chief Minister, it would be untrue. However, he has never actively chased the position. The decision of who becomes Chief Minister is made by the high command. He also discussed the Congress manifesto, stating that there is no longer time to create one as they did in the previous election. Last time, he traveled across the entire state, seeking support and guidance from everyone. Suggestions were then included in the manifesto, but now there is not enough time to work in that way for the preparation of the manifesto.
