Farmer Sangram Singh Yadav narrates how he is getting benefitted from the state government schemes

Raipur: In his interaction with chief minister Bhupesh Baghel today, farmer Sangram Singh Yadav of village Jevra said “All my preparations for the upcoming Diwali festival has been completed after receiving the third installment amount under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana ahead of the festival. It has helped me a lot to purchase festive items including firecrackers, clothes, and sweets for the kids”.

The interaction was a part of the chief minister’s mammoth public interaction drive ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. Yadav expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the chief minister for this Diwali Bonanza given to the farmers.

The farmer practices agriculture on 5 acres of land and has received an amount of Rs 10, 000 recently under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Narrating about how he has got benefitted from the government schemes, he said that farmer-friendly schemes introduced by the state government have facilitated making agriculture profitable. He is also growing aromatic paddy and adopting organic farming. He has got a sprinkler installed on his farm, availing the benefits of government schemes.

He further added that he has also planned to do tree plantation on one-acre land under the ‘Mukhyamantri Vriksharopan Protsahan Yojana’. He said that his loan of  Rs 50,000 has also been waived off and he produces more than 150 quintals of paddy every year.
