District Education Officer Suspends Assistant Teacher for Misconduct at Chhattisgarh Government Primary School

Kunkuri Development Block: The District Education Officer (DEO) has taken swift action by suspending Assistant Teacher L.B. Vijay Yadav from Government Primary School, Sendrimunda. The suspension comes in light of reports stating that Yadav forced school students to massage his hands, feet, and heads. Additionally, the students were beaten up and chased away from the school if they refused to massage.

The decision to suspend Yadav was based on a report submitted by the Development Block Education Officer of Kunkuri and statements provided by the affected students. The investigation confirmed that L. B. Vijay Yadav compelled the students to perform the massages and resorted to physical punishment if they refused.

This act is a clear violation of Rule 3 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Service Conduct Rules, 1965, which categorizes such behaviour as misconduct. Consequently, under Rule 9 of the Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1966, Vijay Yadav, Assistant Teacher (LB Vijay Yadav) of Government Primary School in Sendrigunda, Kunkuri Block, Chhattisgarh, has been suspended with immediate effect.

During the suspension period, Vijay Yadav will be stationed at the Development Block Education Officer’s office in Development Block Pathalgaon. He will be eligible for subsistence allowance per the relevant rules during the suspension period.
