While Sachin Pilot announced hunger strike, Singhdeo again opened up about two and a half years formula

Congress nowadays is facing the challenge of infighting in the two election-bound states – Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan – where the party is already in the power. While senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot has announced to go on hunger strike against his own government on Tuesday, Chhattisgarh’s Health Minister T S Singhdeo has again shown his pain by saying when the promises made by the party high command are not fulfilled then it hurts.
Singhdeo’s displeasure is not hidden from anyone. He has been continuously questioning the Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh. When Singhdeo was asked whether like Rajasthan, there is a dispute in Chhattisgarh as well? If Singhdeo feels that he is not being allowed to work?
He replied that there is no issue of displeasure. “But we are not free to speak what happens behind closed doors. The talk of 2.5 years formula for CM post kept coming in the media again and again. I think the media would be aware of this. But when it doesn’t happen, it hurts. There was a chance that one could get a chance to work. But this is an internal matter of the party. We follow whatever the party high command decides,” said Singhdeo.
He said that Congress did not say this in public. All these things happen behind closed doors. Their dignity has to be maintained. If you ever get a chance, you will tell what happened.
What was discussed with Sachin, it is not known, Singhdeo said when asked about Rajasthan formula. Chhattisgarh is different, Rajasthan is different. Different events happen at different places. Sachin is young, as PCC president, he formed the government by giving a tough fight. It was discussed that he might get a chance as the president, but those things could not happen.
In 2018, the Congress returned to power in Chhattisgarh after 15 years. But after this a war of supremacy broke out between Singhdeo and Bhupesh Baghel over the CM’s chair, it is said that in such a situation, the Chief Minister’s formula was fixed for two and a half years and Bhupesh Baghel was crowned with the power. But the formula of Chief Minister for two and a half years was not implemented. On the contrary, continuous attempts were made to marginalize Singhdeo, adding to his woes.
