CM Bhupesh Baghel slams BJP for questioning the credibility of CGPSC results.

Slamming the opposition BJP for ‘spoiling’ the atmosphere of the state by politicising the issue of Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission (CGPSC) results, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Wednesday that being the son or daughter of bureaucrats or politicians is not a crime.
Talking to media persons, the Chief Minister said that the BJP is questioning the transparency of the selection in the PSC 2021 exam and demanding the cancellation of the result, which is baseless.
The Chief Minister said there is nothing wrong if the children of bureaucrats and politicians get selected for the examination through their hard work and dedication. We cannot fail them simply because they come from the families of bureaucrats and politicians, said the Chief Minister, adding that earlier in the BJP’s tenure, the children of bureaucrats and politicians were also chosen, and he has the names of those chosen previously as well, but if he reveals it, those children will feel bad.
The Chief Minister said that the things being circulated on social media are unfortunate. “If the BJP has facts, it should bring them to the fore; if there is any mistake in the selection, then give it. But the BJP is spoiling the atmosphere of the state through baseless allegations.” said the Chief Minister.
“Just making allegations will not increase your stature. When the children of BJP leaders get tickets in the Vidhansabha or Lok Sabha, then it is their merit, but when the children of officers and leaders get selected in the PSC exam, then they raise questions. This is the double standard of the BJP.” said the Chief Minister.
