CM Bhupesh Baghel takes a jibe at the PM’s visit to the state.
Raipur. Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for criticizing the Chhattisgarh government, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, “I thought the Prime Minister would give something significant to the state, but he has disappointed us by handing over us nothing, not even a toy.”
Talking to reporters, the Chief Minister said PM gave the slogan ‘Badalbo Congress Sarkar’ in Chhattisgarhi. The Chief Minister said now he will speak even ‘Halbi’ and ‘Sargujia’ for votes in the upcoming elections. They were not looking for cows in Gothans in summer, they were looking for votes.
The Chief Minister said Prime Minister had come to Raipur with great hope. The PM had come after a gap of five years, and everybody hoped that he will announce something big for Chhattisgarh, but he did not give anything.
The Chief Minister said, “I liked it because the Prime Minister is criticizing the state government; it means we have become equal to him; we used to consider the Prime Minister of the country very big. By criticizing here, they come to par.”
The Chief Minister said that the matter of corruption was raised. In Madhya Pradesh, too, PM Modi thumped his chest and said that he will not spare a corrupt person. “We were thinking that now no corrupt person will survive in the country,” said the PM. Everyone in Maharashtra, who had been facing corruption charges, changed loyalty, and all became ministers in the Shinde-Fadnavis government.
Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel, ChhaganBhujbal, Hasan Musharraf etc. were facing corruption charges until they joined the government. Praful Patel is now an MP, and he will become a Union Minister. But the allegations against them were all washed away, and all became ministers. This means that do not want to see any corrupt person out of BJP, Baghel said.
The Chief Minister also took a dig at former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on the NAN scam. A resort worth crores has been built in Uttarakhand’s Garhmukteshwar, whose is it, why don’t they get it investigated, asked the Chief Minister.
BJP has no clue about any of our plans
Chief Minister BhupeshBaghelsaid that the BJP does not have the answer to any scheme of the Chhattisgarh government. Neither GodhanNyayYojana, Majdoor Nyay Justice Yojana, Tendupatta, purchase of minor forest produce, nor our unemployment allowance, none of them have a cut. They will keep saying that the people of Chhattisgarh are very intelligent, who is supporting and who is not. Raman Singh kept cheating the farmers for 15 years and gave them three opportunities.
