Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has attacked the BJP over the action of ED-IT in Chhattisgarh. He said that the BJP engaged its two fronts in Chhattisgarh – ED and IT. There is a tussle in the BJP, at the top and bottom.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested IAS Ranu Sahu and presented her in a special court on Saturday. The ED had sought a 14-day remand, but Special Judge Ajay Singh Rajput granted a three-day remand. The next hearing in the case will be on July 25.
ED’s lawyer, Saurabh Pandey, said that today IAS Ranu Sahu, who has also been Korba and Raigarh collector, while further investigating the coal levy case. She got arrested for her involvement in the crime of money laundering.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) teams from Delhi on Friday raided the locations of IAS Ranu Sahu, state service officer Prabhakar Pandey, Congress leader Ramgopal Agarwal, contractor Sunil Ramdas Agarwal and a chartered accountant, after which they were taken to their office for questioning.
