CM Baghel shower praise on sacrifice of Sikhs, but cautions against anti-national activities

Raipur
Showering praise on Sikhs for their sacrifice for the nation and their contribution to nation’s development, Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday said that anti-national activities in any form will not be tolerated. The chief minister stated this referring to a recent incident in which around 35 people raised slogans in support of Punjab’s Ammritpal Singh, who is absconding and now the most wanted for India. The chief minister said that those raised slogans in favour of Amritpal Singh had no permission to take out a rally which is a violation of rules.
The chief minister said that the politics today has lost holiness. The BJP has even compared Rahul Gandhi with Mir Zafar. Political ideology can be different, political battles can also happen but the respect that was there for each other is over now and the reason for this is BJP, said the chief minister.
The Chief Minister said that Congress and Rahul Gandhi are the two targets of BJP as the BJP is scared of both of them. Rahul is exposing BJP’s corruption and therefore they are distracted and can go to any level.
No one is above the law. If someone considers himself above the law, it means that he does not believe in the constitution. The post of the Prime Minister is a post that enhances the dignity of the country and if someone comments on this post, a defamation case will be filed. Surat Court’s decision on Rahul Gandhi’s comment on Modi is going to teach a lesson. This decision will become an example of how political purity should be, said former chief minister Dr Raman Singh.
