Chief minister urges officials to give emphasis on administrative decentralization and transparency
Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday inaugurated the new Tehsil office building in Village Panchayat Bori in the development block Dhamdha. The newly-constructed Tehsil office building has 16 rooms and has all the facilities for people including employees.
There was a wave of happiness among people during the inauguration of the new Tehsil office, local people expressed their gratitude to the chief minister.
The Chhattisgarh Government has established this new Tehsil building in Bori to provide public facilities to everyone and to ensure balanced development. The Chief Minister conducted an inspection of the Tehsil office after the inauguration ceremony and also held conversations with the people present during the occasion.
“The main objective of the Chhattisgarh Government is to gain people’s trust through transparency. For this, the Chhattisgarh Government is decentralizing the administration and is establishing more and more online systems so that works involve more transparency. Special camps will be set up in gram panchayats for the resolution of cases”, said the chief minister.
The new Tehsil office will enable people to save time. Additionally, people from 26 Village Panchayats in the region will experience convenience in solving their revenue matters. Under the Tehsil, there are 11 Patwaris, which will strengthen the quality of administrative work apart from enhancing the revenue facility. There are a total of 16 rooms in the new Tehsil office, which includes 1 meeting hall, 12 rooms for officers and employees, 2 rooms for toilet, and 1 room for drinking water facility.
