Raipur: Under the chairmanship of agriculture production commissioner, a virtual negotiation meeting was held between the state level fertilizer purchase committee and chemical fertilizer suppliers. In the meeting, the selling rate of chemical fertilizers for the Rabi season 2022-23 was finalized. As per the prescribed rate, the price of NPK (20:20:0:13) fertilizers has dropped by Rs 50, while the rate of remaining fertilizers are unchanged.
State Level Fertilizer Purchase Committee has fixed the MRP of fertlizers for farmers in Chhattisgarh are as follows- Rs 1350 per bag for DAP fertilizer, Rs 1350 per bag for NPK, Rs 494 per bag for SSP powder, Rs 635 per bag for SSP granular and Rs 514 per bag for Zincated SSP powder. It is noteworthy that the rate of Neem Urea fertilizer has been fixed by the Government of India at 266.50 per bag. Director Agriculture, Managing Director Markfed, Additional Registrar (Cooperative) and officers of Apex Bank were present in the meeting.
