Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Organizes Silent Protest in Solidarity with Rahul Gandhi’s Fight for Truth and Justice

The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress has announced a State-level one-day mammoth silence Satyagraha (silent protest) program at Gandhi Maidan, Raipur, on July 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This initiative is in solidarity with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, as called upon by the All India Congress Committee.
State Congress President Mohan Markam highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s continuous efforts to question and expose the alleged relationship between Prime Minister Modi and Adani at various forums. He emphasized that Rahul Gandhi’s fight against the misuse of power and his dedication to raising issues concerning the people have been commendable. This has led to actions being taken against him, such as his conviction and disqualification from the Lok Sabha, which the Congress party and many across the nation have condemned.
Mohan Markam emphasized the importance of standing with Rahul Gandhi, stating that he is not alone in his fight for truth and justice. He called for unity among Congress members and people from different political affiliations, to show solidarity with Gandhi.
Various party members, including district and block-level state office bearers, MPs, former MP candidates, MLAs, former candidates and MLAs, District Congress Committee office bearers, Block Congress Committee presidents and office bearers, as well as members from different departments and social media teams, will participate in large numbers. Additionally, elected public representatives of urban bodies and three-level panchayats, cooperative sector officials, senior Congress members, and workers are expected to be actively involved in the program.
