Chhattisgarh participates in First Regional Workshop on Developing Sustainable and Responsible Tourism held in Khajuraho

Raipur: The First Regional Workshop on Developing Sustainable & Responsible Tourism was held on November 29 at Khajuraho with an active participation from States/UT Industry, and Community Stakeholders representing the Central and Western region of India.
The event witnessed active participation from state officials who shared their best practices. UNEP and RTSOI sensitized the participants on actionable ways to implement sustainable tourism.
Sustainable travel Industry pioneers shared their success stories and challenges setting the learning standards of the workshop high. CNAST- IITTM had the honors of organizing and conducting various sessions. Chhattisgarh Tourism Board was represented by Shubhda Chaturvedi and Jeet Singh Arya of Unexplored Bastar talked about various best practices taken in Bastar.
