Chhattisgarh Honored with Bhoomi Samman for Land Management, Surguja and Bemetara Districts Receive Platinum Certificates
Chhattisgarh was honoured with the Bhoomi Samman, presented by President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi. Surguja and Bemetara districts also received the Bhoomi Samman Platinum Certificate for excellent land management. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed pride in the state’s achievement and credited the revenue department and district administrations for their work. Chhattisgarh has made significant progress in land management through the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme. The state has completed 95% of land management tasks and achieved 100% completion in four key components.
Neelam Namdev Ekka, Kiran Kaushal, and Ramesh Sharma received the Bhoomi Samman, while Bemetara Collector PS Elma and Surguja Collector Kundan Kumar accepted the honour from President Murmu.
