Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Considers Regularization for Daily Wage Earners and Contract Employees by August 15
Dispatch News.
In Chhattisgarh, daily wage earners, irregulars, and contract employees may receive the gift of regularization by August 15, thanks to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s initiative. Ravindra Choubey made a statement regarding this, stating that the cabinet has already discussed the regularization process, and the government is expected to make a decision soon.
On July 25, SK Singh, Under Secretary of the General Administration Department, issued a letter to all government departments, requesting information on fresh contract employees, daily wage earners, and irregular daily workers.
The General Administration Department has asked government departments, corporations, boards, commissions, and institutions to provide separate information on appointments to direct recruitment posts from 2004 to 2018 and from 2019 to 2023, as well as details about officers and employees working on contract, irregular, and daily wage terms.
In the circular, the Secretary asked for category-wise information about employees appointed to approved posts, including the number of employees on direct recruitment from first to fourth grade. The data for unreserved, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and OBC officers and employees, including approved and vacant posts, is also being sought. The General Administration Department has provided a separate format for this purpose.
Departments have been given seven days to provide the requested information immediately. The state government is poised to make a significant decision regarding the regularization of these employees, and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel may announce the regularization as a gift to them on August 15.
