Kids Went Fishing in Chhokra Nala; Police Seized 84 Cartridges

Children who went fishing in Raipur found a packet of cartridges. The packet contained 84 bullets of different types of rifles. It is being reported that these bullets are used in rifles like INSAS-MMK. The incident took place at Chhokra Nala in Telibandha.
According to police, around 7 PM on Friday, the children were fishing when they found a pouch. When they opened it and saw bullets, they panicked and informed the locals.
The police have seized around 84 cartridges from the site.
Upon receiving the information, a Dial-112 team arrived at the scene. The police team started searching the area where the children found the bullets. During the search, the police discovered more bullets inside the drain. All the bullets were seized by the police.
The cartridges fit rifles of 303 bore, MMK, and INSAS models. The police are examining the cartridges, checking their manufacturing and batch numbers. They are also investigating whether the bullets were meant for target practice. Information is being gathered from the battalion and police training centres.
