Bore-Basi Tihar celebrated across Chhattisgarh.

On International Labor Day, Bore-Basi Tihar was celebrated across the state. All ministers and parliamentary secretaries, including Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, uploaded their photos on social media. Along with this, the Bore-Basi trend was trending on social media throughout the day. On the appeal of the Chief Minister, people celebrated Tihar in different ways.
Villagers working under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme in Kawardha greeted and wished each other on Labor Day by eating together at the workplace. Villagers are getting employment in the ongoing construction works under MNREGA in various Gram panchayats of the district. During the work, all the workers ate and expressed their happiness that this is our traditional Chhattisgarhi food, which is very beneficial for the body and gives strength to work in the hot sun.
In Korba, Revenue, Disaster Management, and Rehabilitation Minister Jaisingh Agrawal, along with public representatives, enhanced the honour of labour heroes by eating stale sacks. He said that many nutrients are found in stale food. From which our body gets energy. Also, it protects the body from the hot sun and hot winds in the summer.


The Parliamentary Secretary and MLA, Vinod Chandrakar, tasted stale sacks at his residence. He said that today is the day to honour the labourers. On the appeal of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Bore-basi is being eaten enthusiastically. He said that workers’ contribution is important to the innovation of the state and the country.
