In a significant political event, JP Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), arrived in Jashpur as part of the Parivartan Yatra. The visit witnessed a warm welcome from the indigenous Pahadi Korwa community, who greeted him with traditional bows and arrows, symbolising their support for the journey of change.
During his address at the programme, JP Nadda unfurled the green flag, symbolising the initiation of the Yatra Jashpur. In a fiery speech, he strongly criticised the Congress government and the I.N.D.I. alliance, raising questions about the promises made in the Congress manifesto. JP Nadda emphasised that the BJP’s transformation journey was driven by its commitment to serving the people, both in the past and the future. He highlighted the various welfare schemes for the underprivileged initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and assured that the benefits would reach the intended beneficiaries.
Nadda took a moment to offer his prayers for the success of the transformation journey in Jashpur. He fondly remembered the late Dilip Singh Judeo as a visionary leader who served as a great leader and worked tirelessly for social reform. He questioned whether the promises made in the manifesto, such as free gas cylinders and land for the landless, had been fulfilled.
The BJP President did not shy away from criticising the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel. He challenged Baghel to clarify his stance on various issues, particularly corruption allegations.
JP Nadda also took a swipe at the I.N.D.I. alliance, pointing fingers at its members, including Stalin and Priyanka Gandhi, for allegedly disrespecting Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism). He questioned the silence of the Congress Party and asked Bhupesh Baghel to reveal his position on these matters. Nadda also criticised Baghel’s absence at the invitation of the tribal president, raising concerns about whether it amounted to an insult to the tribal community.
J.P. Nadda warned that those who did not protect the sacred cow would face consequences. He urged the people to unite and remove such a government from power, symbolising the BJP’s lotus blooming anew in the political landscape.
