Average rainfall of 1312.3 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: According to the information provided by the State-level Control Room established by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, from 1 June till now, the state has recorded an average rainfall of 1312.3 mm. According to the rainfall measured from 1 June to 18 October in the various districts of the state, Bijapur recorded a maximum average rainfall of 2446.8 mm while Sarguja recorded a minimum of 640.4 mm. According to the information obtained by the state-level Flood Control Room, from 1 June till now, Surajpur has received an average rainfall of 1074.9 mm. Similarly, Balrampur recorded 1116.0 mm, Jashpur 1142.3 mm, Koriya 925.4 mm, Raipur 960.1 mm, Balodabazar 1212.0 mm, Gariyaband 1309.1 mm, Mahasamund 1179.1 mm, Dhamtari 1357.0 mm, Bilaspur 1501.7 mm, Mungeli 1382.9 mm, Raigarh 1251.9 mm, Janjgir Champa 1405.9 mm, Korba 1264.2 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 1125.9 mm, Durg 1042.8 mm, Kabirdham 1200.6 mm, Rajnandgaon 1270.9 mm, Balod 1343.9 mm, Bemetara 757.2 mm, Bastar 1884.7 mm, Kondagaon 1328.5 mm, Kanker 1609.2 mm, Narayanpur 1528.9 mm, Dantewada 1852.9 mm, and Sukma 1628.9 mm of average rainfall.
