After Atmanand School, now Atmanand College will open in the state.

Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Adarsh College is the next step after the successful launch of Swami Atmanand English Medium School. CM Bhupesh Baghel took this initiative to provide English education to schoolchildren.
The Higher Education Department has approved the establishment of four colleges in the state, which will benefit students studying in English medium schools. They will no longer have to go to other states for higher education. As announced in the CM’s budget speech in the Vidhansabha, the state government has allowed the start of classes in these colleges and approved the creation of new positions.
The Higher Education Department has provided information stating that they have approved four English-medium model colleges in the new budget item for 2023-24. Furthermore, they have granted permission to commence classes and created 132 positions, with an allocation of 33 for each college.

The names of the four colleges are as follows: Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Model College in Korba district, Korba; Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Model College in Raigarh district, Raigarh; Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Model College in Bilaspur district, Bilaspur; and Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Model College in Mahasamund district, Mahasamund.
