7-storey state-of-the-art Super Specialty Hospital to be established in Raipur

Raipur: In a significant step towards providing modern healthcare facilities to the citizens, a state-of-the-art super speciality hospital will be established soon in Raipur. To strengthen the healthcare infrastructure and offer multi-speciality services, a budget allocation of Rs 325 crore is made for establishing an integrated modern hospital building at Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital. This 700-bed hospital has a basement, lower ground floor, and ground floor in addition to seven more floors.

This integrated new hospital building will span an area of 70,896 square meters. The building will be equipped with firefighting systems, HVAC systems, IBMS systems, and more. The structure comprises an 8,828 square meter basement, a 7,500 square meter ground floor, 7,274 square meters from the first to fifth floors, an 8,728 square meter atrium roof structure on the sixth floor, and a 640.57 square meter seventh floor. The foundation has been prepared in a manner that allows for the potential development of the seventh and eighth floors in the future, as per the requirements.

A modern and efficient healthcare infrastructure will be available in the state capital Raipur with the construction of the integrated new hospital building, a visionary initiative led by chief minister Bhupesh Baghel. This endeavour is aimed at providing state-of-the-art health facilities, ensuring the well-being of patients. The building will have all the essential amenities required for optimal patient care. Upon the completion of this hospital, patients will have access to a comprehensive range of services offered by a super speciality hospital.
