Chhattisgarh: Digital Crop Survey Verification initiated in Raipur district

Raipur – The Chhattisgarh Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department has issued guidelines for the verification of the digital crop survey and Girdawari (crop inspection) for the Kharif marketing year 2025-26.
In the Raipur district, authorities will conduct a random verification of 53,000 khasras, representing five per cent of the crop entries recorded in the Agri-Stack Digital Crop Survey/Bhuiyan software. This extensive verification process will occur across three levels using a mobile application.
Additional Collector Namrata Jain chaired a training programme in Raipur district to initiate the process. The training imparted detailed knowledge on the operation of the mobile application and the verification procedure for the digital crop survey and Girdawari to Patwaris, Revenue Inspectors (R.I.), Rural Agricultural Extension Officers, and Panchayat Secretaries.
Additional Collector Jain directed the officials to complete the verification of the selected khasras within the stipulated timeframe. In the initial phase, field officers from the Revenue and Agriculture Departments, nominated by the Collector, will inspect these khasras.
If any entry is found to be incorrect, officials must correct it based on physical verification by 31 October 2025.
According to Additional Collector Kirtiman Singh Rathore, the verification of a total of 53,000 khasras in the district will be completed. He set the deadline for this task as 15 October.
Rathore directed all concerned officers and employees to complete the work within the fixed timeline and ensure the quality of verification.
During the programme, officials also tested the actual crop entries using the mobile application. This initiative aims to increase the accuracy of the digital crop survey and enhance the reliability of farmer data. It will ensure the digitisation and timely verification of agricultural data in the district.
